Warehouse/Logistics Instructor
As an Instructor at LifeMark Health, you deliver our specialized warehouse/logistics skills training program that integrates both technical and practical skills including safety, computer programs, documentation, materials handling and customer service. Your adult participants value your ability to help them learn the program content and to assist them in securing and maintaining a career opportunity in the warehouse and logistics industry. Industry employers are anxious to employ the students graduating from your program due to the extensive skill training and knowledge they have gained through your up to date industry experience and knowledge, application of effective adult learning principles and excellent organization, communication and coaching skills. Beyond your extensive experience in warehousing and logistics, you are an experienced adult educator and have worked with related client groups for a minimum of 2 years.
Your responsibilities include:
- Conducting client screening interviews and assessments for program entrance according to referral source guidelines
- Developing and updating program curriculum and materials and facilitating group workshops
- Performing job development through networking and Labour Market analysis and marketing clients to prospective employers
- Providing career coaching and individual support to program participants
- Preparing monthly, annual and project deliverable and outcome reports
- Monitoring and reporting on program financial performance
