IT Support Analyst
Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager the IT Support analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day support of the office including server and desktop issues. You will be responsible for coordinating the troubleshooting and resolution of support tickets in a timely and efficient manner. As part of a dynamic organization, you can expect that your duties will grow from time to time.
Responsibilities Include
- Planning, development, sourcing and implementation of project initiatives that utilize information technology solutions
- Risk assessment and security threat
- Tracking and prioritizing IT support requests
- Monitoring project status against milestones
- Updating and maintaining project work on schedules & on scope
- Onsite & offsite support of end users
- Hands-on coaching IT solution to E-Mar clients
- Facilitating IT projects meetings to communicate progress, status, issues, assignment and urgency
- Support aspects network security / VPN / firewall / ftp storage
- Performing general system administrative duties in a windows environment
- Providing full service and support on all Blackberry, iPhone, mobile phone, and 3G devices
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an IT support role
• Strong analysis & problem solving
• Highly motivated self-starter
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience supporting Windows Server 2003-2008, Windows desktops, Terminal Services, RDP
• Experience with Active Directory and networking concepts include TCP/IP and DNS
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams in a fast paced and demanding environment
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Troubleshooting, repair, upgrade and rework of computer system and electronic hardware
• Knowledge of Kroll, Point Click Care & Mede-Care (an asset)
• Must have valid Ontario driver’s license and own car
