Intake Coordinator Overview

As an Intake Coordinator at LifeMark Health, you are the link between clients and referral sources. You are customer service focused, courteous, reliable and well organized. You have excellent time management skills and strong computer skills, including an intermediate level of skill using Microsoft Word, Excel and the Internet. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills complimented by a strong command of the English language.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing customer service and follow-up with referral sources and patients to ensure all needs are met
  • Receiving referrals from various sources for treatment and/or assessments
  • Contacting patients via telephone to arrange appointments in a time sensitive environment
  • Preparing documentation to be forwarded to clinics
  • Inputting and updating referral data, intake forms and treatment plan statuses in database

Qualifications

  • Post Secondary Education is an asset
  • One to two years previous customer service/administrative experience is an asset.
  • Possess advanced written and verbal communication skills with a strict attention to detail.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills to maintain customer relationships with client companies and patients.
  • Have the ability to prioritize under pressure.
  • Posses strong computer skills, specifically in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Posses exception organizational skills, work independently, take initiative and have a strong work ethic.
  • A familiarity with the Statutory Accidents Benefits Schedule (SABS) is an asset.
