Athletic Therapist Overview
As an Athletic Therapist with Lifemark, you are a key member of our multidisciplinary clinical team. Responsibilities include:
- Providing rehabilitation to clients who have physical injuries incurred from sports, recreation, daily activities or occupation
- Assessing injuries and conditions, using contemporary rehabilitative techniques, therapeutic modalities, soft tissue mobilization, physical reconditioning and support strapping
- Using techniques to facilitate a safe return to participation
- Musculoskeletal and postural evaluation, equipment selection, fitting and repair, warm-up, conditioning programs, supportive taping and adapting to specific environments
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Athletic & Exercise Therapy
- Member in good standing with the Canadian Athletic Therapy Association
