Application Support Specialist
As an Application Support Specialist with Lifemark Health you will service all internal users of our proprietary Web based applications and SmartSimple applications. You will work closely with our business analysts and developers to test new functionality prior to implementation and respond to user feedback after each build. You will contribute to junior business analyst tasks such as gathering and documenting requirements. In addition, you will be responsible for creating and managing all system documentation and training material.
The Helpdesk receives inquiries via telephone and e-mail from 110 locations across Canada. You will interact directly with the user to ensure proper use of the system and will implement system standards. You will experience all aspects of our system, from implementation and training to on-going support, maintenance and development.
You are service and solution oriented with excellent verbal and written communications skills. You take initiative to find solutions and contribute to system development with new ideas. You will provide same day service to urgent issues and next day service for non-urgent items.
Responsibilities include:
- First level support for the LifeMark Patient System (LPS), Visit Entry and Billing Information System (VIBE), Assessment Referral Management System (ARMs) and Alberta MVA application.
- Managing and maintaining System Documentation. (Training material, written standards for system use, staff access approval forms, program information, fee schedules etc.)
- Managing fee code lists
- Managing customer contact information – minimizing duplicate contact entry / training staff to minimize errors. Reviewing ‘Contacts added to database’ on monthly basis.
- Providing program evaluation information/ad-hoc data analysis support to management and marketing to assist operations and business development efforts
- Managing new staff Adds and Access rights to Systems
- Participating in testing of new functionality at the request of the development team.
- Assisting with LPS, ARMs, and VIBE implementation where appropriate
Qualifications
- Experience working with databases and MS Access
- Experience working with HTML
