You are a provincially registered Psychologist with a doctorate degree in psychology. As a member of the interdisciplinary Return to Work (RTW) Services Team, with short term clinical intervention experience you can quickly establish rapport with clients challenged by brain injury, psychological issues and/or pain. You have excellent verbal and written communication skill, are familiar with objective assessment tools and have the ability to effectively adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
Your responsibilities include:
- Individual intervention with clients currently attending a rehabilitation program (Provider Site Based RTW Services, Complex, Brain Injury, Traumatic Psych, Community Based Psych, Vocational Services, etc.)
- Contributing to client management by working with other members of the Team (attending case conferences, team meetings, discharge planning, etc.)
- Providing psychological intervention and assessment on a stand alone basis for referrals from third party payers
- Provision of group psycho-educational classes (pain management, sleep hygiene, stress management, etc.)
- Maintain client psychology files as well as contribute to team reports
